Hybrid Team Transformation: Purple's Shift to Local and Nearshore Development

Challenge
Purple wanted to transition from a fully outsourced team to a hybrid team with local development power in the Netherlands and a trusted nearshore provided to assist in certain capabilities (front-end and QA).
Our approach
25Friday assisted Purple by creating and executing a transition plan and helping to hire local Product Managers and back-end engineers in the Netherlands. In the meantime, a front-end and QA team in Portugal was set up to provide nearshore capabilities that were hard to attract and retain in the Netherlands. The 25Friday Product Management Consultant also improved the product management processes to ensure a smooth transition.
